“Thanks, Dr. Wilson for being instrumental in making the dream become a reality!”

“Dr. Wilson is an outstanding Veterinarian with a great eye for detail with the performance horse. She can pinpoint issues going on with my horse that has been crucial to his continued dressage career. He is 23 now and looks fabulous PLUS he is able to compete at 3rd level at his age! He is even healthy and sound now so he can teach me the fancy stuff from the upper levels! Due to Dr. Wilson’s truly gifted talent of Chiropractic, he is able to maintain his athleticism and even improve his muscling and therefore improve the work. Without this, I really believe that he would have had to be retired by now. The expert nutritional advice from her has been helpful in his overall health and keeping his joints healthy. At his age injections are a must to compete at this level and she performs them accurately which is much easier on my horse. He has been so happy with his new legs! I have also appreciated her communication with my awesome trainer to help keep him fit, healthy, and happy. He acts and feels like a much younger dressage partner. The goal this year is to ride Freestyle!! Thanks, Dr. Wilson for being instrumental in making the dream become a reality!”

Latte

Latte

“Doc Wilson provided us valuable care information along with a treatment and a rehabilitation plan.”

"The December day I reached out to Oregon Equine, I was desperate to find the cause of my 8-year-old gelding's continued soundness issues. Upon meeting Latte, Doc Wilson & Cathy instantly saw he was in pain and got to work. Not only did they listen to my husband and I, they most importantly listened to my horse. Doc Wilson provided us valuable care information along with a treatment and a rehabilitation plan. Latte is now doing better than ever! He's moving with ease and strength. We are so very thankful to have found such a brilliant and caring veterinarian team."

“Dr. Wilson's skillful care and treatment allowed us to participate in this wonderful event that we had prepared for all year.”

“This is my 21-year-old mare Prima crossing the finish line after her Ease of Handling round at the 2017 Working Equitation Nationals. We finished as National Reserve Champs at Intermediate A in large part due to exceptional work by Dr. Wilson. Three weeks prior to the show she came up very lame in her right stifle and was not happy about bending that joint. Dr. Wilson's skillful care and treatment allowed us to participate in this wonderful event that we had prepared for all year. It was such a thrill.

This is only one of several successful treatments my two horses have received over the last several years thanks to the excellent care they have received from Dr. Wilson (and able assistant Cathy!). Dr. Wilson cares deeply about finding the right treatments, and the right answers. I hope to have my horses under her care for years to come. Thanks Doc Wilson!”

Tuff

Tuff

“I believe Tuff and I wouldn’t be at this point if Doc hadn’t been on this case.”

“Sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, my horse, Tuff, managed to injure his right eye – it was swollen completely shut. Doctor Wilson, Doc to her clients, immediately started calling her vendors and suppliers to arrange overnight delivery of additional supplies that she needed to treat his eye injury.

In addition to gathering supplies, she also arranged for him to be moved to a private barn close to her location, so she could examine and treat him more often and more easily. She put in a pump that delivered medication directly into his eye 24/7. Unfortunately, after several days he managed to tear out the entire pump assembly.

Doc came out immediately and put in a second pump. She arranged for him to be observed 24 hours a day to make sure this pump stayed in place. She made herself available whenever necessary, weekend or weekday, early or late.

However, after a week, she didn’t think the eye was healing as it should and called in a veterinary ophthalmology specialist. After consulting with him, she debrided his eye; essentially, she scraped his eyeball. Two weeks later after more consultation, she repeated the treatment.

Thankfully, Tuff’s eye is healed, and we are back to riding. I believe Tuff and I wouldn’t be at this point if Doc hadn’t been on this case. She did what needed to be done, when it needed to be done. She communicated with me every step of the way, updating me with treatment, results, prognosis, and timelines. She was professional and amazingly dedicated. I couldn’t recommend her any more highly.”
