The mission of Oregon Equine is to provide professional, progressive, high quality veterinary and chiropractic care to the equine community in a kind, compassionate and ethical manner.
Dr. Wilson is a graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a background in equine exercise physiology research and equine sports medicine. She is a certified animal chiropractor (CAC) by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP).
Dr. Wilson practices; applied equine sports medicine, lameness diagnosis & treatments, chiropractic treatments, general equine medicine and field surgeries, Pre-purchase examinations, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Nutrition and emergency care while emphasizing client education and treatment options.
Applied Equine Sports Medicine:
Applied equine sports medicine is the science of integrating equine exercise physiology, biomechanics of movement and motion, nutrition, chiropractic evaluation & treatment to the horses where they train and compete. The objective of applied equine sports medicine is to decrease exercise related injuries and disease while maximizing the horse’s performance no mater what discipline or use.
